Frequently asked questions
Answers to commonly asked questions..
Q: Do you fix Hammond organs?
A: No.
Q: Do you service digital devices, like a Line 6 amp, or a AxeFX
A: Nope, aside an input jack, or power switch I do not tinker with modern electronics
its generally more cost effective to purchase another digital/new thing than attempt repairs- it just is.
Q: Do you apply a warranty to your work?
A: Yes, all repairs carry a 90 day warranty applicable to the work I’ve done on the piece of equipment. Equipment misuse, accidents or other scenarios outside the realm of related work are not covered.
Consumable items like guitar strings, vacuum tubes, speakers are not covered.
Q: Are you still Affiliated with RetroLinear?
A: Yes, I’ve been with the company since 2011, all though Retro is not doing repair work, I repair amps, effects etc on the side (yes they’re aware.)
Q: I bought a cable from you previously, does the warranty still apply?
A: Of course! Contact me to have your cable repaired if need be.
Q: Where is “Norton” From?
A: An old friend nicknamed me “Norton” a very long time ago, as I would come and fix their computer and I was the real life “norton” anti-virus, it kinda stuck sort of, then I sat in with a friends band and played a larger local fest in 2005 and another friend, coined me as “Mike Norton on Guitar” in front of about 3000 people, and that was it. My last names Suchodolski, some call me such, but – you’ve probably found me as Mike Norton, this identity crisis is not of my doing, and if your confused- so am I !!!
